Dr. Leslie Howard Stevens, MD, FACS
Leslie Howard Stevens, MD FACS is a renown aesthetic plastic surgeon that is well respected by his surgical peers. Dr Stevens has been practicing in the Beverly Hills area since 1988. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has been a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons since 1989. He is also a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr.Stevens has limited his practice to aesthetic surgery only. He specializes in facial rejuvenation surgery, breast surgery and body contouring. He believes that by focusing on just a few cosmetic procedures, he can best deliver the optimum results to his patients on a consistent basis.
Over the course of his practice he has been sought out by the media as an expert in his field. He has been seen on NBC and CBS local news, Access Hollywood, and E Entertainment Channel. He has been featured on The Sharon Osbourne Show, The Life of Luxury on ABC and the Lisa Gibbons Show. Dr Stevens has also been quoted in many periodicals including , Los Angeles Magazine, Shape, People, Jane, W, Elle, Bazaar, and Parade to name a few and has been featured in Cosmopolitan and The Wall Street Journal.
Dr Stevens is a native of Los Angeles. He is married with one child. He is active in many charitable organizations. He has operated in South America with Interplast and is on the board of Los Angeles ORT. Dr Stevens is also an accomplished athlete. He cycles at a competitive level and is an avid skier.
Dr. Andrew Frankel, MD, FACS
Dr. Andrew Frankel has been practicing at the Lasky Clinic since 1994. Originally from Highland Park, Illinois, Dr. Frankel completed medical school and a five year residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in Chicago before moving to Los Angeles in order to complete an additional year of specialty training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Frankel is board certified in both Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as Otolaryngology (ENT) and exclusively performs surgery in the face, head and neck regions. The great majority of Dr. Frankel’s practice involves facial rejuvenation (such as facelifts, brow lifts and eyelid surgery) and rhinoplasty. However, Dr. Frankel also performs reconstructive facial surgery such as for skin cancer or trauma and a great deal of revision nasal surgery to help improve breathing as well as to restore form. Dr. Frankel is a member of the National Domestic Violence Project, where he performs pro bono surgery on victims of domestic abuse. While most of his surgery is performed at the Lasky Clinic, Dr. Frankel also works out of Century City Doctor’s Hospital in Los Angeles.
Dr. Frankel serves as an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California and as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the division of Head and Neck Surgery at University of California, Los Angeles, where he was awarded the “Outstanding Clinical Faculty Award” in 1996. In 2007 Dr. Frankel was granted the distinction of becoming one of only 36 Fellowship Directors under the auspices of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Frankel has remained actively involved in clinical research and has served as a consultant to several medical corporations in this regard. Dr. Frankel also is a consultant for a Hollywood special effects company where he advises on making actors look better, younger, or occasionally older in a more realistic fashion.
Dr. Frankel is a recognized authority in his field. He has served as an editor for an entire monograph on midface lifting and has contributed published papers regarding many topics within the field of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Frankel has lectured at national and international meetings regarding facelifts, eyelid surgery, and midface lifts and has been an instructor as well as a lecturer regarding injectable filler agents. He published the first-ever scientific paper (“Chemical Brow Lift”) describing the use of Botox to change brow position and has continued to contribute chapters and papers regarding this topic. Dr. Frankel was one of only two doctors to be involved with the clinical research trials for both Restylane and Juvederm which led to their approval by the Food and Drug Administration as dermal fillers. As an adjunct to his participation in those studies, Dr. Frankel also co-authored the first published paper regarding the treatment of undesirable consequences from injections with Restylane.
Dr. Andrew T. Cohen, MD, FACS
Dr. Andrew T. Cohen, a native of Southern California, practices at the Lasky Clinic which has maintained its prestigious reputation both within the city of Beverly Hills and the world over. Dr. Cohen is Board Certified by the American Society of Plastic Surgery. He completed both his general surgery training and plastic surgery fellowship at Loma Linda University.
Dr. Cohen comes from a long line of family surgeons. His father, a prominent general surgeon in Huntington Beach, California, instilled a strong work ethic and love of surgery to all four of the Cohen sons. The oldest, Dr. Mitchell Cohen, M.D. is an orthopedic spine surgeon in Newport Beach, California. Dr. Stephen Cohen and Dr. Jeffrey Cohen are colorectal surgeons in practice together in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Cohen has specialized fellowship training in aesthetic and oculoplastic surgery with Drs. Rod Hester, Mark Codner, Foad Nahai and Clinton McCord in Atlanta, Georgia. This additional training makes Dr. Cohen a highly specialized plastic surgeon of the face and eyelids. In addition, body contouring, liposuction, breast augmentation and abdominal contouring are some of the few cosmetic procedures that are Dr. Cohens specialty. Dr. Cohen is active in the academic aspects of plastic surgery in the form of invited lectures and publications. He has participated in missionary work in Argentina, operating on children with cleft lip and palate defects.
